Hypnotherapy tries to tackle a student’s subconscious mind, using the strength of persuasion for beneficial change. I use hypnosis to give relevant, positive beneficial tips to guide a student to achieve the change they desire. Even though hypnotherapy is different than sleep the student will still have awareness and control. I need the student to be in a deeply relaxed state to allow them to use their imagination completely. It’s important that the student feels totally at ease with me. Hypnosis is a different condition of consciousness from being awake or asleep, and many people compare the deep, relaxed state of hypnosis to daydreaming.
